Buckeye Elite Basketball Showcase

Our History
The Buckeye Elite Basketball Showcase is the oldest running high school basketball event in southern Ohio. It is recognized as one of Portsmouth's most recognizable events and bring communities throughout southern Ohio together for the purpose of friendly competition. The showcase has a history of showcasing some of the the best basketball talent in the tri-state area and the entire Midwest. Annual attendees of the Buckeye Elite Basketball Showcase consider it one of the best values in high school athletics. The event's admission policy allows all basketball fans to attend a high-quality athletic event without putting financial strain of their budget.
Our Purpose
The Buckeye Elite Basketball Showcase has evolved over the year into the basketball experience it is today. The BEBS is a community event geared towards showcasing local talent as well as giving local communities an opportunity to come together in one central location for fellowship. Unlike other basketball events hosted in southern Ohio the proceeds from the Buckeye Elite Basketball Showcase stay in southern Ohio and are donated to charities in the Portsmouth area.


Portsmouth High School
Portsmouth High School's gymnasium will serve as the host site of the 2026 Buckeye Elite Basketball Showcase. The 1,100 seat area is the home of the Portsmouth Trojans boy's, girl's basketball teams as well as the Lady Trojans volleyball program. First opened in 2015, the facilities plays host to numerous regular season and tournament contest as well as multiple community events.
